By placing an order with The Cookie Tin Bakery, you agree to the following terms. Please read them before completing your purchase.
Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, if a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed or if we suspect a fraudulent transaction.
Prices are subject to change without notice. You will always be charged the price displayed at the time your order is confirmed.
Delivery
We do not ship orders. Shipping perishable cookies is prohibitively expensive, so instead we hand-deliver every order locally in and around Fort Worth, Texas. We'll do everything we can to make the handoff as easy and convenient as possible.
After your order is placed, we'll reach out using the email, phone number, and address you provide at checkout to arrange a delivery time that works for both of us. We deliver onTuesdays and Fridays. For orders over$150, we're happy to make other delivery arrangements as needed. Delivery windows are coordinated directly with you; they are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Because we deliver in person and do not ship, we may not be able to fulfill orders placed from outside our local delivery range. If you live outside the Fort Worth area and still place an order, you accept the risk that we may not be able to deliver to you. In that case, you are responsible for contacting us at rchintexas@gmail.com to arrange a mutually agreeable meeting point or fulfillment arrangement. If you reach out and work with us in good faith but we still can't make delivery work, we'll cancel the order and refund you in full. However, if we can't fulfill your order because we're unable to reach you, because you don't show up to an agreed handoff, or because you decline every reasonable arrangement we offer, the order is non-refundable — by that point we've prepared your order and made a good-faith effort to deliver it.
Refunds
Because our products are perishable food items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns.
We will issue a refund or replacement for:
- Orders that arrive visibly damaged or compromised at delivery
- Orders where you received the wrong item
To request a refund or replacement, email us at rchintexas@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, with a photo of the issue and your order number. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. While we will process refunds promptly upon approval, the time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
We do not refund orders we are unable to deliver because of an incorrect address, unreachable contact information, a missed handoff, or your refusal of all reasonable delivery arrangements. See the Delivery section above for how orders placed from outside our local delivery area are handled.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Cookie Tin Bakery's total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
